Choose HAPPY!

Life has its high and lows, but through it all, you can be happy.

There is no definitive definition of "happiness"; continue reading to understand why.

Happiness does not come "one size fits all". What makes you happy may not move others and vice versa. Just as we know that no one can define our "I AM"..., no one can define the meaning of happiness in our life.

You can ask 10 different people what happiness is, and you will receive 10 different answers. Although they are different, all 10 answers are correct. "How?" you may ask... because happiness is not a stencil.

Take a second to ask yourself, what makes you happy?

Are you shaping your life around those things?

Are you choosing to be happy?!

Often times I see people longing for happiness as if their happiness lays in the hands of someone else. No one can control your happiness. YOU have the power to CHOOSE to be happy. No matter what your circumstances may be, you can be HAPPY.

Though happiness is a choice, do not be misled, it's not always easy to pursue. It requires dedication, and anything worth having is worth working for.

It may require removing excess baggage from your life. It may require you to find your God-given purpose. It may require you to acknowledge strengths while addressing weaknesses. It may require you to heal from past traumas. Regardless of the specific focus, the sole requirement is the devotion to discovering Your Happiness.

Each day we wake up is a blessing. A simple way to show gratitude for that blessing is by choosing to live a happy, full life. YOU DESERVE IT! The greatest thing that you can do for yourself is by making every day a happy day. Put yourself first. Make the Choice. CHOOSE HAPPY!
